Participated as a lecturer company in Shizuoka Prefecture's "FY2024 Seminar on Promoting Employment of Persons with Disabilities and Company Site Visits (3rd Session)"
Nanbu Kasei Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shizuoka Prefecture, Haibara District, Yoshida Town; President: Hisashi Kuroda) participated as a lecturer company in the FY2024 Seminar on Promoting Employment of Persons with Disabilities and Company Site Visits (3rd Session) (Hosted by: Shizuoka Prefecture, Co-hosted by: Shizuoka Labour Bureau, Operated by: NPO All Shizuoka Best Community), held on October 9th. On the day, a total of 28 companies and 38 participants gathered at the seminar venue, Yoshida Town Community Development Public Corporation Oasis Hall Training Rooms A & B. Following the opening remarks, our company's representative gave a lecture on "Initiatives for Employing Persons with Disabilities to Become Assets in the Workplace," and Mr. Jiro Fukuda, Representative Director of the Shizuoka Association for Employment of Persons with Disabilities Companies, gave a lecture on "About Telework Offices." Afterwards, participants moved to our Oigawa Business Site to observe the actual workplace where employees with disabilities are working. Upon returning to the seminar venue, there was time for employees with disabilities working at our company to share their experiences, followed by a Q&A session and business card exchange, during which active opinion exchange took place among participants before the closing.
The "Seminar on Promoting Employment of Persons with Disabilities and Company Site Visits" is held by Shizuoka Prefecture to promote the employment and retention of persons with disabilities for companies that are considering or already employing persons with disabilities. In the seminar, in order to serve as a reference for participating companies, representatives from companies that actually employ persons with disabilities introduce their initiatives, and participants also visit the actual workplaces of lecturer companies to observe the employment of persons with disabilities.
